Garioch 10K

Today was the annual Garioch 10K Race around the streets and surrounding countryside of Inverurie. It supports several charities and the Garioch Sports Trust and just gets bigger and bigger every year. This year, as you can see it started in glorious sunshine and yet just five minutes before hailstones were dropping like bombs.

Good luck to them all and I hope that they all succeed in what it is they set out to achieve, be it a new personnel best or just completing the course. For me though running remains firmly a spectator sport.
