Carcassonne

An outstanding day.

Jumped on the 10:29 TGV to Carcassonne. Whoosh. 40 minutes and we're there.

Saw the old Cité out of season and without the tourists. Nice.

Had a coffee in a wee salon de thé in the Ville Basse, while we waited for a rain shower to pass.

Went up the belltower of the Eglise St Vincent for unbeatable views of the town.

The 17:30 train back to Toulouse.

Then a wonderful dinner in a wee restaurant just 100m from the apartment.

Blip is the Place Carnot (town square) from the churchtower.
