Lean on Me

Poor Tawny Frogmouth on the right looks how I felt on Friday after a big night on the town!

It's been a fabulous birthday today. Started with an awesome coffee, followed by a few solid hours birding with friends around Lake Gwelup. We chose that spot to try and see out the TF's and in true Tawny style, they were sitting in the tree doing their best 'branch' impersonation. Also managed to tick of cattle egret today and got some cracking shots of an Australian Hobby Falcon (it was a tough choice between the hobby and the tawy, let me tell you!).

After birding I headed down to Freo for a late lunch with a friend before heading home for a few drinks with another good friend. All in all, a pretty awesome birthday I have to say :)
