Flash mob proposal

Arrived in Whistler and met by middle son and his girlfriend. We haven't seen each other since May last year and they are both residents here now and looking so Canadian. Their apartment is small and houses 5 bikes as well as snowboards and skiis. They love the winter snow and love the summer biking and both have good jobs too.
We were walking through Whistler and came across a great air of expectation amongst a waiting crowd in one of the main thoroughfares. Vee thought she had heard of a flash mob proposal happening and suddenly music from the Lion King blared, a few children came out dancing, more joined, then more still. Out of the middle emerged the suitor in a lion costume (a good look??) took his intended from the crowd of onlookers, got down on one knee, showed her a ring and thankfully she said 'yes' and kissed him. We pondered the wisdom of the approach and decided he must have been pretty confident of a positive answer!!!
My camera battery then died, so no pictures of snow but there will be tomorrow as I try skiing for the first time!
