Busy, busy first day in Houston. We went to an Architects of Air display in Discovery Park. It's a big, blow up interactive display that you can go inside of. It let's in only natural light. We could have relaxed and taken pictures in there all day. I got my Hard Rock Café pin and then Amanda took us to a Japanese Gardens and we saw a duplicate of the National Monument.

We then headed to the Rodeo. There was a massive carnival going on outside, with mechanical bull riding, fried Oreos (and pecan pie and red velvet cake; I guess you can fry anything these days.), and all sorts Of rides and games. The rodeo itself I didn't love. It looks like animal torture to me, especially when you see a group of kids wrestling baby calves to the ground, pulling them by their tails, tying ropes around there faces, and then dragging the calf by the rope. It really upset me actually. After the actual Rodeo portion of the night, Florida Georgia Line performed and they were great! The show even started off with some fireworks.
