Goodbye English Camp

It's amazing how much the students' English has improved over the past few days. Most of them have a good foundation already but are very hesitant to speak out, so a lot of our activities were games that helped them build confidence in speaking, think on their feet, and have fun with English.

One of my favorite activities was when each team selected a movie, famous people, and a location at random. Then they had an hour to put together a ten minute show where everyone had at least a few lines in English. One of the most memorable was when Lady Gaga led the warriors from the movie 300 and popped out of a book in the library. Of course they were scolded for making too much noise by the librarian, and then David Beckham showed up, consoling his frightened son who had gone to the library to read. So creative! We were laughing the whole time.
