Tree sculpture

Today I took my sis to Mottisfont Abbey - very beautiful between fierce showers of hail. This is a circle of beech trees, with an inner circle of tree sculptures - basically tree trunks planted upside down and given patterning in gold paint. I liked it. Less sure, though, about the gold squiggles on the living trees, though I'm sure it was all done in an environmentally friendly way!

Hope you've all had good weekends. Sorry I've been absent from Planet Blip this week (absent in fact from the internet altogether). Hopefully now things will calm down and I'll be back on track..
