Heron on a walk

This heron seemed to be enjoying a leisurely stroll amongst the daffodils in Beatrixpark. Kevin and I went to see the heron nests, and also spotted a pair of Black-neck Swans floating in a pond in another area of the park. As the swans are native to South America and are not found in other parts of the world, it is likely that they were naturalized after escaping the zoo.
