maize in the evening light...........

Was not feeling so good today - not sure if I ate something dodgy yesterday but my stomach was not so good in the morning - much better now though.

So I did not venture out much today - kids came to play in the garden as usual! The evening light was gorgeous and there is maize growing behind my house so I just took this shot. Maize is the staple food here - it is dried and ground into flour and then made into a paste which we call nsima. It is said that if you don't eat nsima then you have not eaten!!!
