The Farm Dog

Today was very nearly another train Blip. There was one I could have gone to see, but in the end I didn't bother because

- I would have had to drive 20 miles to see it go by at speed or 40 miles to see it stopped
- the engine was Braunton which, whilst a steam engine, isn't one of my favourites
- I had a chicken to joint and put in a marinade ready for the Yotem Ottolenghi recipe I'm cooking tonight, and
- the weekend papers were calling out to me.

So instead, I went for a walk to find the Alpacas that I mentioned on Friday, fully intending that I would use them for today's Blip. But this dog from the farm was so pleased to see me when I passed that I thought he deserved his five minutes of fame.
