One man and his shed

This afternoon we ventured over to the allotment to plant very early potatoes and broad beans. We had to shelter in the shed from the rain/hail/snow a few times, but all got planted. I was amazed at how much the rhubarb had grown. I always try and pick the first lot on mothers day and have to scrap around to get enough for a pudpud. Not this year, its in abundance! Rhubarb sponge for pudpud! (- a Fergusisum).

And we can confirm that at last Betty has started laying again after her winter break, just waiting for Doris to join the others now.
