Concentrating

Lazy Sunday. What a lovely day. After church I took them both to Pots of Art after William stated he was happy to share one of his treats. The proviso was that they both painted a pebble rather than anything more complicated. This meant they were both finished at a similar time.

After a long (at least in William's case) lunch, Carys finished her world book day competition bookmark, then we all sat down to watch Nanny McPhee. The kids loved it. Then we let them watch The Cat in the Hat. I have since deleted it. I wasn't impressed.

Not normal for us to do so little or for us to watch so much tv, but I off set it against yesterday's massive amount of exercise and the fact William was sobbing in the night because his legs were aching.

Despite all that William was asleep by 18.10 and I introduced Carys to the game of tri-ominos. She wanted to play again so I guess it was a hit. I will introduce the addition element next time.
