Teddys Reunited!

Poor Teddy has been at Sams House for a week on his own. He had slipped down the side of the bed unnoticed. But he was back in his owners arms today. This was Alex's teddy when he was really small, and Caitlin has adopted him. In fact when Alex got home, he was ignored whilst Teddy got a cuddle. We know we are loved, really....

Had a lovely weekend with Caitlin and my parents. I came home instead of staying in Bristol which was a much needed tonic. Went to Cheltenham shopping on Saturday, followed by a walk and a catch up with my friend Jo. Then Sunday we went to the cinema to watch Frozen, Excellant times. (marred only by an over zealous traffic warden...)

In the last week.

Adeno virus in no longer in JJ's blood.
Gastro team came to visit. She is scheduled to have cameras in both ends (under a GA) to try and work out why she is being so sick. The sickness has increased alot in the last 3 weeks or so, and prior to coming into hospital she was sick daily.
Nov 2012 JJ was 15+kg, Nov 2013 she was 14kg. THis has concerned us alot and glad finally it's being looked into more.
Long conversation over the phone with our consultant last week about feeding, and possibly when we are discharged we may have to come home on TPN. (This is food through her hickman line.) This isn't an ideal situation, but they can't keep her here forever.
Also due to low grade temps. he believes the line may be infected. If she keeps having these temps we may have to think about the hickman line coming out. Not worrying about that until it happens.
JJ also had another xray to check to see if her feeding tudes are stil in the right place and to see if the air around the bowel has gone. Everything there is ok.
Sickness is playing a huge part in our day to day life, and quite frankly she's had enough!
