I could eat a giraffe!
If you don't hurry up with my dinner!
We are late with everything today as the weather is so beautiful that we decided to dedicate the day to garden work. And we love it.
Maggie is by the way very gentle to her toys, they only get a kind of greyisch hard ring at the spot where she loves to lick or carry them. Dog spit is something amazing, high viscosity, and the tongue can give strong massages.
Because of all my blipping and the surgery there are a lot of chores around the house that urgently need to be done. Therefore I apologize in advance for neglecting you a little bit for a couple of days.
I thank you again for the appreciation, especially the stars and heart, for my sunrise yesterday. It's a blessing and a curse to live in the desert. We really love the good weather and the sun, (and our beautiful sunrises :-)) but because of the lack of humidity there are no clouds most of the time, so night frosts can destroy our gardening efforts. There is also a significant lack of bugs. No moscitos here and rarely some Ladybugs. I found one this morning in the bedroom of all places and wanted to take a picture of it. In the attempt to put it on the petals of a flower it dropped into the leaves and was never seen again. This winter has brought so little rain or snow to the west of the USA that in California the fears for a significant draught are already high right now and I really don't want to know how much forest will be destroyed this summer by fires....
