Beer can chicken roast

Had the grandchildren for Sunday lunch today, so decided I'd cook two beer can chickens - a firm favourite with them ! It was too chilly today to fire up the BBQ 'a , so we settled for another Sunday roast . They say the warmer weather is going to return next weekend , so fingers crossed we can enjoy the Al Fresco Sunday lunches and bbq's from now on until the Autumn . After a party last night and a day with grandchildren , I'm off for an early night to recharge my batteries for tomorrow . Trust you all had a great weekend too !
