Frozen Summer Berries

The irony of frozen summer berries. That should never happen to summer fruit. But then again, summer fruit is so nice - sprinkled atop my porridge in the morning (thawed out beforehand of course). Sadly this is not home grown. At our old house we had blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries in the garden and there is nothing nicer than fresh fruit for breakfast. So far the new garden has nothing but moss and heather (and a 14 tonne digger) in it. But fruit trees are a must have and I can't wait to get some in and established. Hopefully then I can freeze our own berries for winter.
