Shells from the Indian Ocean ...

My Dad collected these shells when he was stationed in the Indian Ocean on the Island of Hittadu about 1960 .. and to this day they have a beautiful colour about them and a freshness as if they had just been lifted today .. It is sad however that my Dad cannot remember very much now because of his dementia .. so all the stories are locked inside him now ....life is sad sometimes ...
