Phoenix tree.

I was disappointed when my delivery last autumn from the Woodland Trust contained nothing but dry twigs. I played the optimism card and stuck them in pots, but without any real expectation.

To my surprise, many have started to sprout into leaf.

I now have a dilemma about when and where to put them outdoors.

I feel like an anxious parent.
