Thomas
As this is the first weekend that someone has not been ill we decided that something fun was in order. We have been meaning to head to redwood valley railway for a while, and with Wee B'a current fascination with Thomas we thought he might enjoy this.
B slept all the way there and we had to wake him up. We asked if he would like to ride a train and he said yes but did not seem too enthused. That was right up until the steam train sounded it's whistle and he cried out Thomas!
It was great value as it's only 3 dollars per grown up to ride the train and under 2's were free. The ride takes you through the Redwood Forrest, a tunnel and around Tilden park. It's about 15 minutes long and Wee B loves every minute of it. In fact he loved it so much that we had tears and cries of more when we got off. The model railway club was also open so we had another ride on a smaller steam train they operate. Two rides, some lunch and it was time to go home but we will definitely be back
