Mono Monday: Portrait

Meet Joey........Joey is our neighbours cat who visits us frequently. He was born at the bottom of their property along with his sister, Daisy, and two other brothers who have gone to other family members, their mum was wild.

Joey is adventurous often looking into every nook and cranny that he can find. He follows me round the garden, helps with the weeding or uplifting newly planted plants. He likes to sit on the fence or climb over our roof trying to catch the birds but as yet has not been successful. On a hot day when the wind is blowing nor'west he runs like a maniac round our section, sometimes chasing leaves or sometimes just being a little weird - they say the nor'west wind affects animals and humans.

We have a beautiful warm day with no wind, gosh that feels good! At 1.30pm it was 25C at the local airfield. Time now to head out into the garden - have a great day everyone :)
