Snow Down Under

DIVERSION AGAIN !

In case you 're wondering about the leaves, this climbing rose is growing through Clematis Armandii. I've blipped it because it would be the most prolific rose seen here in Wanaka. Believe me you will see it everywhere. It is ROSE 'DUBLIN BAY', & although we have a bay by the same name on our lake, I believe it is a McGredy rose & named after a bay in Ireland. It is constantly in flower & can be grown successfully as a large shrub.

Strange how red roses never photograph well ? This has rich, blood red flowers. A very popular rose.
