Bullring Centre, Birmingham

Birmingham's Bullring Centre is a place that I've visited regularly since the early 1960s, when Dad used to work close to there at British Rail's Property Board. So I've seen it, and the surrounding area, undergo some amazing transformations, particularly during the last decade. To me, Birmingham is somewhere that's always had both a strong civic pride and a very clear sense of its own identity, and it's wonderful to see these being translated into bold architectural visions in so many areas.
