It was the wrong decision

to stay on the M40 when there was a closure between junction 12 and 11. Just didn't want to divert onto the M6. We were on the way to London loaded with all our daughters processions. The tail back started by the Warwick service station between junction 13 and 12. It took over 2 hours to get to junction 12 by which time the road works had been completed and at least we didn't have a diversion off the motorway. The only way to keep sane was to look at the developing cloud formations as it turned into a very nice day. Looks like the car windscreen could do with a wash.

The mission was accomplished and we returned home very late. No time for any interesting blips.
