The Tiger Moth

A group of us were asked to take some shots of this Tiger Moth. It was commissioned (I think) in 1942 and was used as a training plane for the Australian Airforce. It had relatively few hours on the clock in comparison to other old girls. I thought she was particularly beautiful and gleaming in the sunrise. A hot air balloon in going past in the distance. It had a very full basket and we wondered whether it was going to make it over the trees. It did, but only just.
