Ok, let me start from the beginning...

For my birthday a couple of days ago I was kindly bought a couple of new lenses; a Nikkor 50mm f1.8 and a Sigma 24-60mm f2.8. I really want to start shooting seriously and have (reluctantly) agreed to shoot my friend's wedding in the summer (gulp!)

And so I'm starting up my blip blog again in order to get the practice in (and a good excuse to play around with my new toys) hoping that I can produce an image a day to a good enough standard to pass as being the semi-pro that I aspire to be.

This is the Siggy wide open and a slightly daft shot of my OH (You might be seeing a lot of him).
