Wood pigeon

Columba palumbus, though more commonly referred to as fat b*stard when spied waddling around on the allotment pinching tiny defenceless pea plants. This one probably had a look round the allotments and couldn't see anything sufficiently tasty and tender so had to make like a proper bird and find some berries.

It had a slightly furtive look - I think it sensed a certain animosity....
