The Gatehouse, Astley Park, Chorley

A beautiful spring morning today in Lancashire so decided I would explore Astley Park in Chorley somewhere I have only briefly visited previously.

I have driven past this gatehouse on the main road on numerous occassions recently and thought it deserved a closer look.

The gatehouse was bathed in spring sunshine this morning and I felt that the black and white of the building contrasted well against the trees and lovely blue sky.
