Glass palace

The Glass Palace (built in 1935 by architect Frits Peutz)
SCHUNCK is housed in the historic Glass Palace in Heerlen, it was built in 1935 by order of businessman Peter Schunck. The Glass Palace is on the list of 1000 most important architectural monuments of the 20th century. Reason enough to allow for a closer acquaintance with the building through a tour beginning on the architectural features of the Glass Palace.
Schunck let visitors come into contact with contemporary art, but also houses a library and a music school.
