A Bridge too Far

A busy day, but very a satisfying morning when we went to buy plants for our newly landscaped garden. Still a way to go, but at least we have both the trees, all but one of the climbers, and quite a few of the shrubs.
I had some business at the village along from ours. Our village is on the hillside, whereas the next one straddles the River Don. the Upper Don is not over-endowed with bridges, this one being the only one for vehicles in a stretch of over 6 miles. Still hoping to start my journey along its course before too long. The shortage of bridges is one of the challenges in making this journey, although there are a few footbridges along the way.
