Always wondered where that saying came from after hearing it in one of my favorite Greg Stump ski flicks... now I know. Google is a wonderous thing. I would have never guessed Eliot... here's the poem if interested.

Beautiful and blustery day after the mostly gray weekend. Clear views all the way to Monte Rosa (> 2 drive by car, a Monarch and the 2nd tallest in the Alps). The entire chain of the Alps are sparkling white today after the snow from the weekend. Some places with upwards of a meter.... :)
