Beauty in the storm

A day off - and what a gorgeous day.

Richard E had some bad news from work so to cheer ourselves up we went to the St Magnus Bay hotel for one of their legendary carverys. Absolutely outstanding.

To revive ourselves after the stupor that all that food induced, we popped along to Eshaness where the westerly wind was whipping up some very dramatic waves. I was lucky to get this shot of the rainbow.

A good way to cheer ourselves up.
