Small Encounter...

I had a small but lovely encounter today.

I sat beside someone on my bus home. They were getting off a couple of stops before me and so I had to let them out.

Instead of the usual abrubt "Excuse me" or general nod of intention, this girl just gently announced to me that "This is my stop..." and thanked me for letting her out.

A small thing but it gave me a wee smile.
