Jollity Farm

Forgive me that this is not entirely sharp, by the time I went for the last Gus walk of the day the light was falling fast. But I had to share a photo of this new arrival who has appeared in the last day or two since I last walked through the highlands in Redhills Pasture on the Knott. Expect to see more of this entrancing little fellow, born to one of the black highland cows. Last year I got a bit carried away following the young lives of the three highland calves on the pasture. It was only the build up of the tick population in the late Spring making the fields a no-go area for Gus that stopped me boring everyone to death with cow pictures.

Anyway, I came home smiling and thinking of this.
