Giraffes in Edinburgh!

It was a lovely day in Edinburgh, mild and sunny. I am on jury duty this week and reported to the Sheriff Court in Chambers Street at 10:30 raring to go. The wheels of justice move slowly and it took until gone 13:00 before a jury was chosen, and the rest of us could go away until Wednesday. It would have been nice to know what was going on, but it was an interesting experience. The Sheriff Court is really lovely and you could take some great photos, if cameras were allowed.

I then went for a walk around the east end of Princes Street and around Calton Hill. The sun was shining in a crisp blue sky, and I liked the view of the giraffes outside the Vue Cinema on Leith Walk. The sun behind the head gave a strong silhouette.
