Surprise! Spring!

I was pretty amazed to see these early semi-open bluebells in the wood today. There were quite a number of them dotted around amongst the thousands of gorgeous wood anemones. The day was pretty cold but with the sun out and dressed up warmly, it was very pleasant indeed!


Will take other photos of the bluebells once they've opened fully as they make a fabulous show in this wood. Whole families troop up the hill from miles around especially to see them :-)
