A bit of colour in the garden!!

Safely home….absolutely cream crackered !!

Left Singapore basking in 34 degrees and arrived at a chilly 1 degree Heathrow just before 5am!! BA kindly helped us to prepare for the change by blasting cold air through the cabin all night!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many passengers wrapped up in coats and blankets whilst travelling.

It’s been a busy day getting unpacked; washing started and generally sorted out. We discovered that the power to the freezer in the garage had gone off. We don’t know when it happened, but needless to say everything was defrosting. Most things have had to be binned, but I have managed to salvage some roasts and spent the afternoon cooking. As the freezer is now almost empty, this might be the best time to replace it as it must be over 25yrs old, it moved here with us!!

Struggling to stay awake so that I can do a normal bedtime and not wake at silly o’clock!!!

It’s good to be home and it will be even better when the house warms up and I’ve had a good nights sleep :0)
