Footpath closed (57 of 84)

I went for a wander around Sandford Lock (Sandford-on-Thames, Oxfordshire) at lunchtime. At first I struggled to find things to photograph, but then I saw potential in everything. A gate latch, an empty rusty sweetcorn can, a wooden bridge, some rubbish left behind by flood water, a padlock restricting access to a footpath.

Although not an exciting subject, I rather like the image I chose for my Blip today. I sometimes wish I had more time and freedom to just take my camera and wander around without a plan or schedule.
