Pink Carpet. Botanic Garden.

Went to see the amazing Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2013 at the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street this morning with Mum. It's on until the 1st of June. Admission free. Find out more at www.nms.ac.uk/scotland

Walked home via the Botanics which has a huge collection of Rhododendron. The flowers were dropping off this one as I walked passed, possibly because of the heavy early morning frost today.
Nature can be harsh.
