An Elegant Gate...

This is one of my favorite necklaces. I started with a piece of Lapis and drew the design of an elegant gate. That's all I had for several years, it wasn't complete. Then I saw these earrings made by a friend of mine. It gave me the idea that the lapis piece would look stronger with the brass backing. She added all the other lapis pieces to make the completed lovely necklace.
