Selcouth.

Adjective meaning: Unusual, strange, rare.

This squirrel was quite surprised to see a very selcouth (rare) snowy owl up in her tree. It was funny watching her reaction to this stuffed owl.  Of course, it was between her and her food.  She finally gave up and came up the tree from the other side. But she was still leery.

Selcouth could very easily define me right now .... I'm in a strange mood.
