Viva the Italian Cucina!

I can't imagine life without a good pasta! We definitely needed to have a good bowl of pasta tonight because we are carbohydrate loading for our big challenge tomorrow. We're going to be first in line (hopefully) for tickets to the Melbourne International Flower Show.
It's from all accounts a really spectacular event and last year when we in Melbourne we were so disappointed to find out that we had missed out on the show by one day!

I've promised Snowy32 from Wanaka in NZ that I will be on the lookout for some spectacular blooms, so I'm going to need all the energy I can muster as there's a huge area to cover to see the entire show. I love Snowy's Blip journal, particularly the spectacular images of the roses that she grows.

We didn't have far to go to find a good bowl of pasta tonight. We have been staying right next door to the "Crown Casino" on the Southbank of the city. We discovered a couple of days ago that there is an excellent food hall located in the vast bowels of the Casino and the Italian Cucina makes a very mean Lasagne.
