Controversial Huts

This morning Gary and I went to a parent consultation at Oliver's pre-school. He has settled into pre-school nicely; is growing in confidence; has made lots of friends and is a well liked child in the class. This is excellent news given that Oliver started pre-school as quite a shy little boy.

After the meeting we headed for the beach for a short walk.

These beach huts were erected very recently and have caused a bit of a stir, firstly because nearby beach huts were severely damaged in the Valentines Day storm and the worry is that these will be battered next winter, and secondly because they block the perfect sea view from some of the caravans in the site behind the huts.

Anyway, all 11 beach huts were sold within 4 days of being placed for sale, with a price tag of approximately £25,000.
