What a nice surprise!

I got up this morning and went to make a cup of tea. While the kettle was boiling i looked round the garden and completely away from the Restaurant feeders I saw this Bullfinch on the Almanchia bush, then I saw the female also on the same bush. They were tucking into the unopened flower heads on the bush.I took a few shots thinking they might fly away, but they were so engrossed in their feeding that I was able to open the window without frightening them and carried on taking pictures. They even posed for me and were there a good fifteen minutes before they flew off. Hopefully they will be back, now that they have found a good source of food!. I had to re-boil the kettle!
