Farewell Africa

Early this morning we said goodbye to beautiful Zambia with a microlight flight over the Victoria Falls.

The weather was glorious and we flew through a circular rainbow in the mist of the falls - this is known as an Angel's Kiss, after David Livingstone's famous description of the Falls: "scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight".

As P observed in the taxi on the way to the airport, I have been truly bitten by the African bug. I've only seen a tiny corner of this astounding continent but I'm vowing now to return...
