Date & Walnut Loaf

What do you do when you find an unopened packet of Christmas dates lurking at the back of the cupboard? Make a date & walnut loaf, of course! This recipe was so easy that even I could make it and just hope it tastes as good as it smells.

A cold and murky sort of day, so after a quick trip to the supermarket, I decided to stay indoors and keep warm. My husband, on the other hand, was fishing on the River Tay again and was suitably frozen when he came home. A slice of this loaf with a hot cup of tea should warm him up nicely:-)
