Box for a Great tit

The bird box was placed here in recent years and when pointing the camera around the garden I spotted some movement on the front of the box. You can just see the back of the bird peering in. She - I think - wasn't in a hurry to clear off, it would be good to know it's to be a nest.

A fairly wet Tuesday and another lovely day of visitors including my hairdresser for an overdue hair cut. The days are passing rapidly and already its time to head over to Oban tomorrow to visit the orthopaedic department, the letter tells me the clips will be removed and a new plaster fitted on the leg. I hope to find out JUST what was done two weeks ago, it's all a bit of a blur.
