Jacks parents evening tonight. He did really well.

It's an exhausting, noisy whirlwind of an event. How the teachers feel afterwards I can only guess. Three hours of back to back 1:1's must be shattering.

That said, all the teachers remained enthusiastic throughout. Straight talking from the History teacher was appreciated. Jack needs to start reading books regularly is the long and short of it all - sorry Jack. (Ideas for immediately engaging books for 13 year old boys gratefully received!).
