Vittra

If you look carefully into the forest as you walk along the road to Herring Bay you will see the houses of the little people who live there - and if you are lucky they might even be home!

They are called Vittra in Swedish and are not seen very often. Most of the time they don't meddle in human affairs but can get very angry if you don't respect them!

There seem to be quite a few living in the forest near my house - I managed to take a picture of this one though I wasn't sure it would appear on the blip :-)
