Break in the clouds
I have hardly been able to breath today I've been so busy.
Had the usual pay run tuesday so for 4 hours I've solidly been processing expenses and mileage claims plus general invoices which always makes for a busy day.
Today too I had to finish the salaries . We had about 30 new starts this month as we have been taking on big batches of CJS youngsters (Community Job Scotland - the latest government scheme) so all their details had to be input into Sage.
Only one redundancy this month, thankfully it was not me in fact it's been let slip that I will be getting a wee pay rise as of the beginning of the next financial year in April. Finally my request has been granted as my job has changed so much since I started there and I put my case forward months ago.
Plus in July I will have been with the trust for 5 years so I qualify for an extra 5 days holiday each year- woo hoo!
It was supposed to be peeing down today but somehow managed to stay dry. As I was walking with Bailey (later this evening as I was an hour and a half late getting away from work) there wasn't a breath of wind and it was lovely and mild. At one point the clouds parted and some welcome evening sun was the result.
