Putney Sculptures

This was done by Alan Thornhill, a London sculptor. There are eight large sculptures like this one that form the 'Putney Sculpture Trail', a prominent feature of the Thames walk in those parts.
I very much enjoyed a sculpting class that he ran at Morley College around 1980.
